Many guitar players start out thinking that first position-frets one, two, and three- is where all the chords live. The rest of the neck can seem like it simply exists to hold the tuning pegs and box together
Nothing could be further from the truth!
One of the beauties of the guitar is that the same chord, can be played in several different places on the neck. There are *many* chord voicings, each offering its own unique color and character.

Working one-on-one either in person (Seattle) or on-line (anywhere) , we’ll venture beyond the third fret and discover how different versions of familiar chords can bring new life to your song. By substituting inversions of the same chord, you can create tonal harmonies that better support your singing and bring out fresh flavor in the melodies and nuance to the tune.
We'll learn to play basic cover tunes like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Blowing In The Wind" in different posotions on the nec, If your songs are feeling a little sleepy, it may be time to wake them up and explore the rest of the fretboard! 💃🕺

-​In person at Deb's house (if you live in Seattle), or on ZOOM (for both Seattle-lites and non-locals)

PREREQUISITES:
-Complete free 20 -minute ZOOM consultation before first class so Deb can see where your are at, find out what you want and thus tailor the class to fit
-You need to know your basic guitar chords and be able to do at least half-barting (covering the GBE strings)
This in NOT a beginner guitar course.
